SUMMARY DESCRIPTION Responsible for cooking and preparing meals for the vessel crew, customer representatives and 3rd party employees. Utilizing safe food handling practices Financial management of the vessel’s grocery budget REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Possess the following valid certifications or licenses: Valid USCG Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC - minimum six (6) months prior to renewal) with OS rating preferred but not required Valid USCG Medical Certificate (minimum six (6) months prior to renewal) Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC -- minimum six (6) months prior to renewal) Valid Driver’s License (minimum six (6) months prior to renewal) Valid Passport (minimum six (6) months prior to renewal) ServSafe certification (minimum six (6) months prior to renewal) Food Handler Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance Copy of DD214 (if veteran) Experience: Previous experience in a maritime environment preferred. DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT Incumbents must frequently lift or move objects that weigh up to 50 pounds, or more with assistance. Must have coordination and dexterity to safely handle sharp instruments in an unsteady environment. Occasional requirement to crew change by helicopter and maintain a valid OPITO BOSIET credential. Hitch is a 2:1 rotation (42/21 - projected to sail 243 days per year) and will commence on or before 12/31/2023. Quality Service Incentive Bonus Opportunity
